In honor of America's 250th anniversary, we will watch “A Great Awakening,” the true story of an unlikely friendship that resulted in one of the most defining moments in American history. With colonies on the brink of collapse, the Reverend George Whitfield sparks the first Great Awakening, uniting an entire generation with this thundering proclamation of liberty in Christ. In a miraculous turn of events, one of Whitfield's closest friends and greatest promoters becomes none other than Benjamin Franklin. With the nation's freedom hanging in the balance, Franklin discovers true liberty cannot only be written into law - it must be awakened in the hearts of the people.

This movie night, hosted by our Senior Adult Ministry, is open to everyone. Our Senior Adult Ministry serves members by providing spiritual growth, fellowship, and meaningful service opportunities, focusing on social events (trips, luncheons, games), and avenues for seniors to use their wisdom in ministry to others, combating loneliness and fostering purpose.
