Night to Shine

February 2027

Night to Shine is coming to the O’Dome in 2027! Sign up below to be among the first to receive event updates and announcements. We can’t wait to experience this together!

Night to Shine Gator Nation is a local expression of the worldwide Night to Shine ministry, a prom-style event created to honor people with special needs and celebrate their value, dignity, and worth. Grace Church has partnered with Westside Baptist Church, who will host the free event. We will give adults and teens with developmental disabilities a red-carpet welcome, crowns and tiaras, dinner, dancing, photos, and VIP treatment — all rooted in a message of God’s love and inclusion. The event is part of a larger movement launched by the Tim Tebow Foundation that has reached thousands of communities around the world and demonstrates how church and community can come together to make every guest feel celebrated and loved.

Beyond the joy and festivities of the evening, Night to Shine serves an important ministry purpose: it creates a welcoming space where individuals with special needs and their families experience acceptance, belonging, and affirmation. For many families, this event offers not just a memorable night but also a tangible expression of faith in action — showing that every person matters to God. The event also includes supportive elements like a caregiver retreat and, when needed, a virtual celebration to make participation accessible for those who prefer it.

Volunteers are essential to making this ministry possible. From greeting guests and serving as prom buddies to supporting behind-the-scenes logistics, volunteers help create an unforgettable experience of joy and dignity. We invite you to serve with us! You will share Christ’s love in a profound way, build meaningful relationships, and be part of a night that honors others as kings and queens.
